Halloween Across the Country

Bruce the Shark, Tinkerbell, and Pirate Norah

How often do you get to celebrate Halloween in 3 different states?  We did exactly that this year. The first festivities were a walk through the historic Greenfield Village in Michigan to see their spooks and haunts.  It was one of those cold and rainy coats-over-costumes kind of nights.

Count Oliver and Peacock Emerson with the girls.

Next stop was in Chicago. We went to a Halloween dance party at Ollie's school. On the agenda for that night: dancing, pizza, ice cream, face painting, and Halloween crafts.

Finally, a layover in St. Louis meant trick-or-treating on Halloween with their friends.
Again it was a rainy and cold kind of night. Undeterred, the girls forged on, and scored a bounty of candy.  Whew! Three different nights wearing costumes in 3 different states. A memorable Halloween for sure.
